Stacy obtained her MA real estate license in 1989 while working as a real estate closing paralegal and title examiner.  She has served as an expert witness in the MA Land Court, and she has conducted closings throughout the Commonwealth.  Stacy was previously co-owner of a prominent Martha’s Vineyard real estate firm. Ms. Wallace’s diverse real estate background has afforded her the opportunity to sit on all sides of the closing table, which offers her a unique perspective and advantage in her role as a referral coordinator.  With a keen eye for details, Stacy’s real estate expertise includes sales, placing referrals, due diligence, complex title examinations and perhaps most importantly, customer service.

Stacy is the proud mother of two wonderful children, Jack and KC. She believes being a mother has trained her to multitask, a skill which has served her well professionally. In her own words, “I love seeing people connecting to people and I look forward to assisting you in making your real estate transaction a happy and successful one”.

How she came to work in real estate:

Stacy’s mother was a successful real estate broker and appraiser who served as district manager for a large real estate firm and who gave Stacy her first job in real estate at age 15.

Personal Life:

Stacy grew up in Basking Ridge, NJ and spent summer vacations on Martha’s Vineyard. She went on to study fine art and graphic design in college.  In 1992, after working as a paralegal in Boston for several years, Ms. Wallace moved to the Vineyard year-round. After raising her children, Stacy moved to Cape Cod, being drawn to its great beaches, boating, dining, and shopping.  In her spare time, Stacy gets back to what she loves most…art.

Volunteer Work:

Cub Scouts; the Edgartown Federated Church Stewardship, and Capital Fund Raising Committees; the Edgartown School Principal Search Committee, PTO, and Future Problem Solvers; The Dukes County Historical Society (now known as the Martha’s Vineyard Museum); and most recently the Bourne Historical Society. In addition to donating her time, Stacy has also donated several of her art pieces to charity.
