Mystic, Connecticut – a Maritime Treasure

Crossing over the Mystic River Bascule drawbridge is a journey to another time and place. Mystic’s historic, maritime roots can be felt throughout this small, coastal village which attracts thousands of visitors each year. Tourists and residents alike are drawn to its quaint, waterfront commercial center, complete with unique boutiques, historic homes, cultural amenities and fabulous eateries. Mystic Pizza, for example, located in the center of town, inspired the Hollywood movie of the same name starring Julia Roberts.
